You Don't Need the Olmecs. Timbuktu Is Real.
BEFORE COLUMBUS — Part 9 of 9. Claim-by-claim check. The close.
After checking everything, here's where it lands.
The reel's specific pre-Columbian claims mostly don't survive the evidence. But its central claim does: the taught history shrinks a continent of empires, universities, bronze archives, and stone cities into a prologue to slavery, and that shrinkage was engineered. Hegel wrote the philosophy. Trevor-Roper said it on the BBC. Rhodesia legislated the lie about Great Zimbabwe. The curriculum still opens the chapter at the slave port.
You were right to feel robbed.
Now the hard truth the myth-peddlers miss: the documented history doesn't need the help. Mansa Musa moving the Egyptian gold market is a better story than a mistranslated king's unproven landing. Three hundred fifty thousand manuscripts smuggled past jihadists on donkey carts beats disputed skull measurements. The Garifuna holding off an empire needs no invented antiquity.
Black history existed worldwide long before slavery. It just didn't need to cross the Atlantic to prove it. Africa built its golden age at home, in gold, in bronze, in stone, and in ink.
Teach that, loudly, and sourced.
That's the series. Share the true parts. They hold up. Full sourced version on the Strike Force News HQ Substack.
