Awareness Fatigue

There are days when I wish I could unknow things.

Not big truths—small ones. The subtle patterns. The manipulations hiding in tone. The way language bends reality without announcing itself.

It’s tiring to notice everything.
To feel the weight of subtext in every exchange. To sense the invisible machinery humming beneath ordinary life.

I envy people who rest easily inside explanations.
Who accept what they’re given and sleep.

But once the fracture opens, it doesn’t close politely.
It just… stays.

And you learn to carry it.
