Comfort: The New Censorship

Censorship no longer burns books. It buries truth beneath pleasure.
It tells you that discomfort is toxic, that offense is sin, that questioning is divisive.

And so, the modern citizen learns to self-censor — not because of threat, but because of belonging.
We edit our thoughts before they ever reach the page. We dilute our convictions to fit the feed.
It’s not a muzzle that stops us — it’s the desperate need to be liked.

Comfort kills more revolutions than fear ever did.
And in that soft, quiet death, individuality fades.
